  1. No Masses or distribution of ashes on Ash Wednesday
  2. Lenten works of mercy should be performed personally, not communally. 
  3. Rite of election and the scrutinies is cancelled
  4. Mass for the newly baptized at Pentecost is cancelled
  5. The celebration of the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults is postponed to Pentecost
